Congressman Alan Lowenthal will be hosting a community town hall on Sunday, July 12, featuring United States Ambassador to Vietnam Ted Osius that will focus on the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade negotiations, human rights, and the development of democracy in Vietnam.  They will also review the status of the relationship between the U.S. and Vietnam since the normalization of relations between the two countries 20 years ago.

The event, being held in conjunction with Reps. Dana Rohrabacher (CA-48), Ed Royce (CA-39), and Loretta Sanchez (CA-46), and in partnership with Coastline Community College, will be held at the Le-Jao Community Center located at 14120 All American Way in the city of Westminster.

The town hall is open to the public, though seating is limited and early arrival of attendees is recommended. A question and answer session is planned at the end of the event to allow attendees to pose their own questions to the Ambassador and Congress members.

The event begins at 1:30pm and will conclude at 3:30pm.
